William "Bart" Bartlett Reed

William B. “Bart” Reed, 65 of Henderson passed away September 27, 2023, at St. Anthony’s Lucy Smith King Care Center.

He was born December 12, 1957, in Henderson to the late Ronald E. and Martha L. Reed.

Bart was a greens keeper and had recently rededicated his life to the Lord. He loved to play golf and was club champion at Audubon Golf Course in the past years. He also was an avid UK basketball fan and LA Chargers fan.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Shane Boles.

He is survived by his son, Ryan Reed (Abby) of Clay; his siblings, Rhonda Johnson of Henderson, Robbie Reed (Dorothy) of Henderson and Jetta Lahr (Ron) of Slaughters; seven grandchildren, Lilly, Isabelle, Kadence, Oaklynn, Kennady, Norah and Maddox.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Monday, October 2, 2023, at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel. Bro. Gary Taylor will officiate with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be 2:00 PM-6:00 PM, Sunday and 10:00 AM until service time Monday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Ryan Reed, Robbie Reed, Jesse Smithhart, David Fricke, Ron Lahr and Maddox Boles.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Lucy Smith King Care Center.
