William "Bill" Thomas Gibson

William “Bill” Thomas Gibson, 70, passed away peacefully Saturday, May 26, 2018 at Henderson Nursing and Rehab. Mr. Gibson was born August 26, 1947 in Henderson, KY to the late William “Bud” Gibson and Emma Lou White Gregory.  He loved spending time with family, playing softball and baseball and was an avid University of Kentucky basketball fan. For 15 years he worked for  Vendair Vending where he ended his career as Vice-President. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his step father, Arnold Gregory. He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Carol Smith Gibson; seven children, Damon Gibson, Monty Gibson, Stephanie Ayers, Farah Hynes, Kasey Crosby, Lucas Gibson and Molly Roberts; one sister, Terry Kratz and 11 grandchildren. Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, May 31, 2018, 12:00 PM at Holy Name of Jesus in Henderson, KY with Father Larry McBride officiating.  Visitation will take place Wednesday, May 30, 2018, 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson, KY with prayers to begin at 6:30 PM and visitation Thursday, May 31, 2018, 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Holy Name of Jesus.
