William “Bill” Andrew Willett, 74, of Henderson, passed away peacefully at his home on March 7, 2025.
Born and raised in Henderson, William was the son of the late Hiram and Mary (Moore) Willett. A hardworking and dedicated man, he was the proud owner and operator of Willetts Towing for many years with his son, who continues to run the business. Beyond his work, he had a deep passion for classic cars, which he loved working on and collecting alongside his son. He also enjoyed collecting pocketknives and antique toys, cherishing the nostalgia and craftsmanship of each piece.
In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by his grandson, Tucker Nelson, and his brother, Maurice Willett.
He is lovingly remembered by his children, Chad Willett (Tiffany) and Jenna Nelson (Mark); his grandchildren, Elizabeth “Drew” Willett and Dax Nelson; and a host of extended family members and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 10, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson. A private burial will take place at a later date at St. Louis Cemetery.
William's legacy of hard work, love for family, and appreciation for life’s simple joys will forever be cherished by those who knew him.
