William "Billy" Ray Oliver

William “Billy” Ray Oliver, 66, of Spottsville, passed away Friday, December 27, 2024 at home.

He was born in Henderson on February 27, 1958 to the late Roy Lee and Virginia Lois (Foster) Oliver.

He was a jack of all trades, working many different jobs and of the Baptist faith. A As a child, he cherished fishing trips with his father and later continued the tradition with his grandchildren. He found joy in hunting and traveling alongside his wife, whom he cared for deeply.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sons, Steven Harris and Michael Williams; sister, Shelia Morris; and brothers, Okie Lee Oliver and James Albert Oliver.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Oliver; daughter, DeAnna Benthall; grandchildren, Steven, Destiney, and Breeanna; and sister, Joann Pryor (Jackie) of Henderson.
