William “Fred” Hagan, Sr., 81, of Henderson passed away Monday October 30, 2023 at his farm.
He was born in Henderson on October 8, 1942 to the late Charles Thomas and Anna Mae (Davis) Hagan.
Fred was a cattle farmer and member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church. He enjoyed having his morning coffee at the Cairo Cafe with his coffee club. Fred also loved fishing and riding horses. He enjoyed spending most of his time at his farm riding his mule, checking cattle and talking with friends. He loved watching UK basketball and spending time with his grandkids.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four siblings Norman Hagan, Tommy Hagan, Barbara Marlin and Dell Hagan.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years Sue Hagan; three sons Will Hagan (Paulette), Mike Hagan (Kathy), Stevie Hagan (Emily); one brother Stanley Hagan; six grandchildren Gunner Hagan, Tristan Hagan, Jaxston Hagan, Landen Hagan, Gracie Mae Hagan, Henry Hagan and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be 11:00 AM Friday November 3, 2023 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel with Deacon John Prough
Visitation will be Thursday 3-7 PM and Friday 9:00 AM until service time.
Burial will be in St. Louis Cemetery.
