William C Hancock

William C. Hancock, 81 of Henderson passed away Saturday March 22, 2014 at 7:02 PM at Henderson Nursing and Rehab. He was born in Uniontown, Kentucky on July 13, 1932 to Thomas W. and Maggie E. (Bradford) Hancock. He was retired from Southern States and was also a lifelong farmer. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Henderson and was a US Army Veteran who served in the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife of 52 years Frances Perry Hancock. Survivors include 1 daughter: Robyn Lynn Palmer 1 Brother: Johnny Hancock 1 Sister: Mary Elizabeth Priest Services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday March 25, 2014 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel. Rev. Hollis Marshall will officiate. Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery with full military rites conducted by the American Legion Worsham Post 40 Honor Guard. Visitation will be Tuesday 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Anthony’s Hospice or Henderson’s First Baptist Church. Pallbearers will be David Bradford, William Arthur Ross, Carl Wayne West, Neal Priest, Robert Hancock, Bobby Hicks, Ricky Holder and Roger Timberlake.
