William Loman O'Nan

William Loman O’Nan, 84 of Henderson, Kentucky passed away Monday August 22, 2011 at Lucy Smith King Care Center. He was born on Novermber 17, 1926 in Henderson County to Ora and Margaret (Reid) O’Nan. He was a retired letter carrier from the U.S. Post Office. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Army as well as the U.S. Air Force. He is preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother John Thomas (Dugie) O’Nan. He is survived by his wife of 61 years Ruthie Deane (Justice) O’Nan of Henderson, Kentucky 1 Son: John Kevin O’Nan and wife Shelle of Henderson, Kentucky 1 Daughter: Lori Beth O’Nan Rideout and husband Jeff of Henderson, KY 1 Sister: Wilda Lett of Henderson, Kentucky 3 Brothers: Harold O’Nan of Henderson, Kentucky Richard O’Nan of Henderson, Kentucky James O’Nan of Tampa, Florida 5 Grandchildren: Kevin O’Nan Kristin Lambin-O’Nan Justin Anderson Bethany Chandler Katie Anderson 12 Great-Grandchildren Services will be held at Hyland Baptist Church in Henderson at 11 AM on Thursday August 25, 2011 Visitation will be at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel from 4-8 PM Wednesday August 24 and at Hyland Baptist Church from 10 until service time on Thursday. Burial will be at Fairmont Cemetery with full military rites by American Legion Post 40 Honor Guard. Pallbearers will be Justin Anderson, Jeremy Chandler, Kevin O’Nan, Brent O’Nan, Brian O’Nan, Tim Lett, Ron Crowley. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hyland Baptist Church Building Fund or Lucy Smith King Care Center.
