William "Ox" David Givens

William David “Ox” Givens, 55, of Henderson passed away Thursday August, 8, 2024 at his home.

Ox was born in Henderson on November 16, 1968 to the David Wayne and Martha D. (Lancaster) Givens.

Ox was a skilled finish sculptor for Serra Designs and worked as a cook at Mr. B’s for several years. His passion for music, art, motorcycles and martial arts was evident, however, nothing brought his greater joy than spending time with his grandkids.

He was preceded in death by his father David Wayne “Sardo” Givens.

Survivors include his mother and step-father Martha and Wayne Stone; son Orrin Givens (Myka); two brothers Brian Shelton (Carol), Scott Shelton (Micki); two grandchildren Waylon and Chance Givens; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

A life celebration meal will be 5-7PM Sunday August 11, 2024 at Orrin and Myka’s home.

Visitation will be Monday, 1:00 PM -4:00 PM at the funeral home.

Services will be 4:00 PM Monday August 12, 2024 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel.

Burial will be at a later date.
