William Earl "Billy" Pryor

William Earl “Billy” Pryor, 68 of Slaughters, KY passed away Wednesday August 16, 2023 at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville, KY.

He was born in Jolly, KY on February 2, 1955 to the late Jack Dempsey and Wilma Joyce (Brinkley) Pryor.

Billy was retired from IMI in Evansville, IN

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Billie Jean “BJ” Weaver, 2 brothers; James and Darrell Pryor and one sister, Susie Pryor.

He is survived by his wife; Mary Jean (McLean) Pryor

Daughter; Shannon (Stacy) Paul of Slaughters, KY

2 Grandchildren; Tori and Christian Paul

3 Great Grandchildren; Remmington Paul, Ryder Lane Paul and Wolf Conrad Calcutta.

5 Brothers; Jackie (Mary Ramsey) Pryor of Sebree,KY, Larry (Dorothy) Pryor of Poole, KY, Dale Pryor of Sebree, KY, Roger (Carlene Dale) Pryor of Sebree, KY and Arnold (Judy) Pryor of Sebree, KY.

Many Nieces and Nephews also survive.

Services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday August 21, at Tomblinson Funeral Home Sebree Chapel.

Brother Thornton Stanley will officiate.

Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery in Poole, KY.

Visitation will be Saturday from 4:00 until 8:00, Sunday 4:00 until 8:00 and Monday 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Roger Pryor, Arnold Pryor, Larry Pryor, Darrell Weaver, George “Tooter” Wedding and Johnny Pryor.
