William Thomas "Pops" Pyle

William Thomas “Pops” Pyle, 66 of Owensboro, KY and formerly of Onton, KY passed away on Monday June 17, 2024 at Chautuaqua Health and Rehab in Owensboro.

He was born in Ft. Campbell, KY on May 11, 1958 to the late Herman and Zada Merle (Williams) Pyle.

He was formerly employed at Ferro Plastics in Evansville, IN. His favorite hobby was making memories with his family, but he also enjoyed sports, having played football in high school, fishing and gardening.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Barbara June (Gower) Pyle, sister, Katherine Lynne and Brother Richard Pyle.

Pops is survived by 3 children; Kristi (Kenny) Wilson of Cumberland City, TN, Destiney Pyle of Belfield, ND and Christopher (Rebecca) Pyle of Clay, KY. Two grandchildren; Amanda (Jason) Blandford of Owensboro, KY and Kristen (Gary) Anthony of Erin, TN. Five great grandchildren; Bryce, Kaybree, Kynadee and Brynlee “Bo” Anthony and Daxton Blandford.

Service will be held at 12:00 on Friday June 21st at Tomblinson Funeral Home Sebree Chapel.

A private entombment in the family mausoleum will at Slaughters Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Friday from 11:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
