William "Bill" "Stumpy" Stump

William “Bill” “Stumpy” Stump, 69 of Henderson passed away Saturday, May 7, 2022 at his home surrounded by family. He was born January 13, 1953 in West Virginia to the late Caulden Eugene and Kathryn Rose Stump. He was a member of the Carpenters Local Union, member of the Moose Lodge 732, American Legion Post #40 National Rifle Association and Eagles. He is survived by his wife, Kathy Wilson; daughters, Brayden Yates of Henderson and Heather Sharp (Gary Jr.) of Henderson; stepdaughters, Alissa Royster (Preston) and Adrienne Price, all of Henderson; two sisters, Ellen Jane Eaton (Jim) of Carolina Beach, NC and Tonda Roach (Bill) Parkersburg, WV; six grandchildren, “Baby” Aryionni “Soul Sister” Runnells, Anders Hollowell, Carson Royster, Kennedy Sohne, Mattix Sohne, and Makyrin Walker; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 12 at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson. Visitation will be at the funeral home Wednesday, May 11 from 3 – 7 p.m. and on Thursday, May 12 from 10 a.m. until service time.
