Wilma Jean Green

Wilma Jean (Wilson) Green, 69 of Henderson, KY passed away at 3:22 PM Friday February 17, 2012 at her residence under the care of St. Anthony’s Hospice. She was born in Henderson County, KY on April 16, 1942 to the late Lawrence Wilson and Helen (Holmes) Wilson Stone. She was a homemaker and a member of New Hope Pentecostal Church in Henderson. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her step father; Houston Stone and a grandson; Bryan Wilson. She is survived by 6 children; Kenneth Wilson of Corydon, KY Sheila Green, Timothy Green, Kathy Foster, Jason Laughary, and Shawn Green all of Henderson, KY 4 sisters; Shirley Laughary, Linda Myers, Karen Clark, and Susie Rowell all of Henderson, KY 25 Grandchildren, 37 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren Services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday February 21, 2012 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel. Bro. Tony Payne will officiate. Burial will be in Fernwood Cemetery in Henderson. Visitation will be Monday from 2:00 until 7:00 and Tuesday 11:00 AM until service time at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Greg Courtney, Tyler Green, Kenny Wilson, David Keene, Anthony Cook and Ethan Green. Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Anthony’s Hospice.
