Windy (Carlisle) Glassco

Windy (Carlisle) Glassco, 55, of Reed, Ky. passed away at her residence Tuesday, June 19, 2018. She was born on Thursday, February 7, 1963 in Henderson, Ky. Windy was a member of the Mt. Zion General Baptist Church of Reed and shopping was her favorite hobby. She is survived by her husband Emmett Glassco of Reed; one daughter, Clara Peckinpaugh of Henderson; one granddaughter, Violet Williams; her mother, Marie (Carter) Carlisle of Henderson; and one sister, Angie Jackson, husband Michael of Reed. She was preceded in death by her father, Milburn Kay Carlisle; grandson, Mason Brown; and sister, Danette Snodgrass. Funeral services will be Friday, June 22, 2018 at 1 p.m. at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson with Reverends Alan Ramsey and J.W. Haire officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion General Baptist Church Cemetery in Reed. Pallbearers will be Mike Jackson, Ron Adams, Ricky Ewing and Mike Glassco. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, June 21, 2018 and Friday, June 22, 2018 from 9 a.m. until the funeral hour at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at 262 Danny Thomas Pl, Memphis, TN  38105.
