Winifred E. Liford

Winifred (Ellis) Liford, 86 of Henderson passed away 11:10 PM Saturday December 3, 2011 at the Lucy Smith King Care Center. She was born June 13, 1925 in Jenson, KY to Emmitt and Florence (Lasley) Ellis. She a member of the Calvary Pentecostal Church in Sebree and was a retired Medicine Aide from Colonial Terrace Nursing Home. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband John Clinton Liford, 10 brothers and sisters, Grandson Jerrad Liford. She is survived by 4 children: Steve and wife Diana Liford of Troy. MO Carol Liford of Henderson Tim Liford of Henderson Pam and husband Eddie Berry of Henderson 2 brothers: Ernest Ellis of Hamilton, OH Woodrow and wife Tommie Ellis of Middlesboro, KY 11 Grandchildren: Justin Liford, Stephen Shawn Liford, Stephan Ryan Liford, Jennifer Murphy, Brittany Liford, Joey Murphy, Chris Murphy, Clinton Berry, Mitchell Berry, Kristen Liford and Bailey Liford 10 Great Grandchildren: Hailey Kuykendall, Josh Liford, Nick Liford, Tommy Holstein, Jacob Holstein, Elaina Holstein, Samantha Murphy, Alyssa Murphy, Ethan Murphy and Chase Murphy. Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Wednesday December 7 at Calvary Pentecostal Church in Sebree. Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery. Bro. Eddie Berry will officiate. Visitation will be 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM Tuesday December 6 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel and Wednesday 10:00 AM until service time at the church. Pallbearers will be Clinton Berry, Mitchell Berry, Justin Liford, Shawn Liford, Dan Herron and J.J. Alstadt. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Anthony’s Hospice.
