Woody Sigler

Woody Sigler, 67, of Henderson passed away on April 28, 2017 at his home. He was born on December 11, 1949 to Roy Lee and Ruth Imogene (Tucker) Sigler in Sturgis, KY. He taught himself how to play the guitar and spent his younger years with Grandpa Jones who was a big influence in his life. Woody played several different instruments and played with several musicians from Nashville such as Willie Nelson and Randy Travis. He is preceded in death by his parents and 3 brothers: Richard Britton Sigler, David Lee Sigler, and Roy Gordon Sigler. He is survived by his wife of 40 years Donna Sigler; 2 daughters: Martina (Cobb) Aldridge and Seree E. Sigler both of Henderson; a brother Danny Michael Sigler of Springfield Massachusetts; 7 grandchildren: Preston, Harrison, Lauren, Carson, Ava, Ella, and Chloe; 1 great grandchild Bently; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held on Monday May 1, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson. Pallbearers will be Seth Britton Phelps, Preston Aldridge, Harrison Aldridge, David Duncan, Wes Barre, and Jason Aldridge. Honorary pallbearers will be Joe Logan and Dennis Redmon. Visitation will be held on Sunday 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM and Monday 11:00 AM – service time. Burial will be held at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Military rites will be conducted by American Legion Worsham Post #40 Honor Guard. Expressions of sympathy can be taken in the form of contributions to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
