Wynema "Bim" Shelton

Wynema Bim Shelton, 87 of Corydon passed away Wednesday November 18, 2015 at 10:35 at her home with her two daughters, under the care of St. Anthonys Hospice. She was born in Union County on May 23, 1928 to Herman and Margie Emma (Blanford) Nally. Bim was a member of Corydon Missionary Baptist Church where she taught ladies Sunday school class for several years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William Cecil Shelton an infant son Cecil Dewayne Shelton and 12 brothers and sisters. She is survived by 2 daughters: Donna Buckman and husband Larry of Henderson Brenda Draper and husband Dan of Corydon 3 Granddaughters: Kelly Blanford and husband Brian Holly Loffland and husband Bryan Kristie Palummo and husband Tim 5 Great-grandchildren: Elizabeth Blanford, Will Blanford, Sofia Palummo, Cecilia Palummo and Evangeline Loffland Several Nieces and Nephews Services will be noon Saturday November 21, 2015 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel. Bro. Rick ODaniel will officiate. Burial will be in Corydon Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday 4-8PM and Saturday 9:00AM until service time at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Brian Blanford, Bryan Loffland, Tim Palummo, Will Blanford, Ronnie Duncan and Jackie Crook. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Corydon Missionary Baptist Church or St. Anthonys Hospice.
