Yvonne (Stills) Nelson

Yvonne (Stills) Nelson, 78, of Hanson died Saturday, Oct. 12, 2013 at Baptist Health in Madisonville. She was born to Raymond Clyde and Beulah Thomas Stills on July 19, 1935 in Caldwell County. She was a member of Hanson Baptist Church and was a bowler and loved to play bunko. She also loved playing with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and two sisters. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Timmons Nelson, of Hanson, 3 sons, Carl (Pam) Nelson of Kuttawa, Larry Nelson of Hanson, Dwight (Janice) Nelson of Hanson and a daughter Elizabeth Swick of Madisonville, also a sister, Anna Lipford. She had 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Services will be Tuesday, Oct.15, at 2:00 PM at Tomblinson Funeral Home Slaughters-Hanson Chapel. Brother Carl Nelson will officiate. Burial will be in Hanson City Cemetery, Hanson, Ky. Visitation Monday, Oct. 14, from 5:00PM until 8:00PM and Tuesday, Oct. 15 from 10:00 AM until service.
