Henderson Chapel

On March 7, 2011 Tomblinson Funeral Home opened its newest facility at 325 First Street (corner of First and Green Street) in downtown Henderson, Kentucky. This venture had started some 4 years previous as several Henderson and Henderson County residents began calling on our Sebree Chapel to serve their families. We also began to see many people coming to us to prearrange their funerals from the Henderson area. This trend continued until we began to see a need for a facility in Henderson. In the Summer of 2010 we started the process of opening a facility at 325 First Street and on March 7, 2011 we officially opened the Henderson chapel. Our goal is to bring the Henderson community the traditional, caring and personalized service we have provided at our other locations for years. We strive to treat every family as our own and to provide as much ease for the family during this process. We also pride ourselves with always having offered our services at reasonable prices. 

Sebree Chapel

The Sebree Chapel was established in 1956 by Paul Tompkins.  In 1960, Tompkins purchased the Springfield Funeral Home in Sebree, Kentucky and moved it into the Tompkins location. Paul Tompkins owned and operated the funeral home until his retirement in 1988. It was then taken over by his son who operated the business until December 31, 2002. On January 1, 2003, the current owner, Chip Tomblinson, purchased the business and operated under the Tompkins name until August 1, 2006, at which time the name was changed to Tomblinson Funeral Homes.  The business is still located at its original location on Main Street in Sebree, Kentucky.
